ABOUT

Kilimanjaro Tiger embodies my love, passion, and dreams for Africa. I wanted to cherish the precious experiences and deep gratitude I had gained in Africa, and to share that inspiration there once again. With this heartfelt intention, and a desire to create wonderful dreams together in Africa, I founded the Kilimanjaro Tiger Cup, a soccer tournament.

"Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith." (Hebrews 12:1)

Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and one of the Seven Summits. Its highest peak, Uhuru Peak, rises 5,895 meters (19,341 feet).
When you reach the summit, you will receive a certificate showing your ranking among climbers from around the world.
Climbers on Mount Kilimanjaro can succeed through their own determination, overcoming altitude sickness without any special equipment. After being discharged from the army, I successfully reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, Uhuru Peak.
When one of the chiefs of the Maasai people saw me wearing a tiger-patterned fur hat after I had successfully completed the summit, he gave me the name “Kilimanjaro Tiger,” a Maasai warrior name. At that moment, I named my company Kilimanjaro Tiger so that I would never forget the drops of sweat I shed on the way to the summit and the beautiful tears I shed at the top.
Through the Kilimanjaro Tiger Cup, I hope that African children and young people will discover their dreams and visions in God’s grace and never lose hope.
